ICYMI: The President Tinubu led administration has approved ₦4 billion each for 12 selected universities to rehabilitate engineering and technology workshops, upgrade laboratories, and install modern equipment under the TETFund Special High-Impact Intervention Project. Beneficiary institutions include - Federal University of Technology Minna - Federal University of Technology Akure - Federal University of Technology Owerri - Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University. - Federal University of Technology Ikot-Abasi - Federal University of Technology Babura - Nigerian Army University, Biu. - African Aviation and Aerospace University - Shehu Shagari University of Education, Sokoto - Enugu State University of Science and Technology - University of Ilesha, Osun state. A monitoring committee has been inaugurated to supervise the proposed engineering upgrade program across the selected universities. This development is part of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration’s efforts to strengthen practical training, innovation, and global competitiveness in Nigerian universities.
