WHERE’S OUR COMMANDER-IN-CHIEF? EXACTLY WHERE HE SHOULD BE.
The thing about talkers is simple:
they are hardly actors, rarely doers, and never performers. That is why you - and those unfortunate enough to have you in their circle - will never ascend to leadership. Your kind is enslaved by emotion. Your public conduct is not guided by reason or strategy, but by sentiment, impulse, and the loud emptiness of noise.
When Trump barked his infamous “guns blazing” threat at Nigeria, your likes expected panic. You even advised it.
You wanted the President to scramble to Washington like a frightened subject - to kneel, to plead, to explain himself before the self-styled emperor of the West. Some of you, in your quiet corners, even prayed for invasion.
After all, if Nigerians refused to hand you power at the polls, perhaps foreign boots could deliver it through the back door. Such is the desperation of men who possess neither the wits nor to grit to win honorably.
BUT WHAT DID TINUBU DO?
He did the unexpected.
