ARISE NEWS @ARISEtv FCT, RIVERS ELECTION OUTCOMES REFLECT CONFIDENCE IN TINUBU - WIKE The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, has welcomed the outcome of the just concluded Area Council elections in Abuja, where the All Progressives Congress recorded significant victories. Mr Wike Speaking at the Sate House on Sunday , says the party’s performance reflects growing public confidence in the policies and programmes of President Bola Tinubu, noting the APC made unprecedented gains, including in satellite and hinterland communities. He also described the party’s showing in the Rivers State by election as a victory for what he calls the rainbow coalition aligned with the President’s Renewed Hope agenda. On the work free day and movement restrictions before and during the polls in the FCT, Wike said the directive was approved by the President to allow residents return to their communities to vote, and for security reasons urging critics to get their facts right.
