VP SHETTIMA IN PORT HARCOURT FOR 2026 NADCEL Vice President Kashim Shettima is in Port Harcourt, the Rivers State Capital for the Grand Finale of the 163rd edition of the Nigerian Army Day Celebrations hosted by the Six Division of the Nigerian Army. The Vice President was received at the Presidential wing of the Port Harcourt International Airport by Rivers State Governor, Siminlayi Fubara, Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Waidi Shaibu, members of the Rivers State Government. The Vice President is expected to declare "Close" the Nigerian Army Day Celebration edition which features ceremonial parades, operational displays, cultural engagements and strategic discussions that is expected to reflect on the achievements and challenges to identify as well as address the future defense priorities.
